Campers who want to seek out a good pub while on their holiday will find life much easier, after the Guardian produced a list of top camper-friendly watering holes.
The newspaper has picked the top pubs which are located near camp sites, meaning long hunts for a good beer or meal are no longer needed.
At the top of the list is the Hazelphron pub, in Gunwalloe, Cornwall, which has been praised due its "numerous cosy eating areas" and freshly cooked food.
The pub is about one mile from Gunwalloe Caravan Park, which is described by the newspaper as a small site that costs between £8.50 and £10 a night.
Also given a mention is the Square and Compass in Worth Matravers, Swanage, Dorset, which is a "splendid old pub" providing a range of farmhouse cider and homemade pasties.
The nearest site to this old establishment is Tom's Field, in Langton Matravers, which is described as "more of a hike than a stagger" from the pub, but is taken along a coastal path and the site is a "lovely field on the edge of the world".
A tool was recently launched by the Good Pub Guide which uses text services to advise caravanners and campers alike of the nearest decent watering hole when they are in unknown areas.
