One caravan owner has had a victory over an insurance company, after it previously refused to payout for vandalism.
The insurance company, Royal and Sun Alliance, has reversed its decision on the vehicle which is owned by north Kent's Safety in Action group, reports the News Shopper.
It initially stated that cover was not provided for the caravan to be used for business purposes, but has since changed its mind.
The vehicle, which is worth £2,000, was vandalised in a secure car park in Dartford High Street.
Zoe Reilly, the external communications adviser for the insurance company, said: "Having reviewed the case, in view of the circumstances and as a gesture of goodwill, we are paying the claim in full."
Gail King, the chairman of the Safety in Action group, said it she was "delighted", but was concerned that the same thing would happen again.
The group teaches Year six pupils safety skills in a variety of environments.
Safeguard Insurance recently advised that caravanners should invest in cover to protect against flooding, theft or an accident.
