A couple who run a caravanning site have won the Best Certified Site award in a recent ceremony.
The owners of the Bostock Caravan Park won the Camping and Caravanning Club's award for best site and won tickets to the National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Show, reports the Northwich Guardian.
Alison and Adrian Smith, from Brook House Farm, also won a two-night stay at a hotel in Birmingham, where the show is located.
The couple told the newspaper: "We didn't even know there was such a competition and to win against some of the more established sites in tourist locations such as the Lake District or on the coast was a great accomplishment."
The Bostock site, which is in Middlewich, Cheshire, only opened last year, but won for its friendly and personal service.
It was also commended for being described as picturesque and peaceful.
The site is open all year round, according to ukcampsite.co.uk and allows caravans, motorhomes and tents into the park.
