One company which offers camping on the Isle of Wight has announced a new range of package holidays.

Red Funnel Holidays includes the cost of the ferry rise to the island in its cost, regardless if holidaymakers have a trailer, caravan or motorhome, reports Easier Travel.

The agent is also offering three or five-night stays, meaning travellers can choose between a short break or a longer getaway.

A choice of the island's three holiday parks is also available, one of which is an award-winning site.

The Orchards Holiday Park has received the David Bellamy Gold Award for conservation seven years in a row, in addition to winning a gold Green Island award, according to the website.

Whitecliff Bay, another of the Isle of Wight's parks is more geared for children and offers an indoor pool, children's play zone and crazy golf.

The Isle of Wight's tourist board describes the island as being "the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing break".
