Motorhomes to gather for Welsh rally

A holiday rally for motorhome owners is being planned in south west Wales.
It is thought around 150 motorhomes will turn up to the rally, which will have a Welsh theme and will be the largest rally in the area, reports Tenby Today.
Clive Hanham, chairman of the south-west Wales section of the Motor Caravanners Club (MCC), said: "We've advertised the rally nationally and have had an excellent response already from all over the world.
"Originally we had booked the ten days to coincide with the dates of the seaside resort's Summer Spectaculars, but although there are doubts over that event taking place, we are still hoping for a very large turnout for the rally," he added.
Included in the plans are for the Tenby Male Voice Choir to sing and for Welsh outfits to be worn, reported the newspaper.
Also at the event will be bingo, cream teas, a hog roast, treasure hunt and a resident DJ.
Mr Hanham added that he hoped the event, which will run from July 25th to August 3rd, would create a lot of interest in the town.
Guidelines from the MCC say that any person attending the rally must be a member, but that anyone can sign up on the day.
