Coleman launches the first ever "air-conditioned" tents

Adequate ventilation is an important factor when camping. Poor ventilation not only creates an uncomfortabley hot tent in warmer climates, but also encouranges excessive condensation in varied climates such as thouse experienced in the UK.

The Cool Air™ Port allows you to attach the Coleman® Cool Window Fan (sold separately) to a mesh panel which channels air into the base of the tent. Thanks to the "chimney" effect, the cool air pushes the warm air out through the multiple ventilation panels situated around the ten, resulting in a comfortable ambience, night or day.

The Cool Air™ Port is featured on a number of new Coleman® Exponent® family tents including the Weathermaster™ Range, Sector Range, Matrix Range, Factor Range and the Evolva.

The Evolva, an evolution in family camping

The new Evolva tent from Coleman® Exponent® is specifically designed to cope with the multiple and complex changing needs of fanily campers today.

The ultimate in camping versatility, the Evolva is designed to fit with modern family outdoor lifestyles. Leading the way in modular design, it offers comfort and convenience, alllowing the user to chanmge from a 3 to a 9 person tent according to their needs, connecting two additional annexes as required. It even has optional annexe types available, from a sleeping annexe to a food preparation annexe.

Khyam will be launching the Freelander Deluxe at the show. Also new to the Flexi-Dome range is the Wayfarer which is poised to become the fastest pitching family tent around. Khyam Ridgi Domes have also undergone a major overhaul to incorporate sewn in groundsheets and even made to measure carpets for extra comfort in the outdoors.

Highlights from the Ridgi Domes range include the Windsor which is new for 2008 and features 16sq metres of livibg soace and generous sized bedrooms, courtesy of the highly innovative Tri-Pod pole system. Khyam will also be displaying the incredibly popular Ontario 8 - currently a best seller. The advantages of Poly Cotton fabrics are becoming better known and Khyam have capitalised on this with the Indiana 8 TC which will also be on show.

Highlights from the Motor Dome range will also be showcased and thjese have become increasingly popular with caravan and motorhome users. The Motor Dome Sleeper is an exciting new model for 2008 and encompasses a 4 berth bedroom section and a spacious inner tent.
